Lotus Brothers is a locally owned carpet and floor cleaning company based in Rogers, Arkansas. We clean carpet, upholstery, rugs and tile for homes and businesses across Northwest Arkansas, using plant-based, pet-safe solutions and IICRC-standard methods. About the role
Assistant Technicians are the second set of hands on every Lotus Brothers job. You ride with a lead technician, help set up our truck-mounted equipment, prepare each room, and learn our cleaning process from the ground up.
It's a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in careful work and treats a customer's home like their own. As you learn, you take on more of the cleaning yourself, with a clear path to running jobs as a Lead Technician.
What you'll do
- Load, set up and break down truck-mounted cleaning equipment at each job
- Protect the home before work starts: shoe covers, corner guards and furniture pads
- Move light furniture and prepare rooms for cleaning
- Pre-treat stains and high-traffic areas under a lead technician
- Run cleaning and extraction tools as you are trained on them
- Keep the van, hoses and tools clean, stocked and organized
- Greet customers professionally and help walk them through the finished work
What we're looking for
- A valid driver's license and a reliable way to get to work
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and work on your feet all day
- On time, dependable and comfortable working inside customers’ homes
- Clear communication and a respectful, friendly attitude
- Willing to pass a background check
Nice to have
- Experience in cleaning, restoration, moving, landscaping or another trade
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Interest in earning IICRC certification

Physical requirements
This job involves kneeling, bending, lifting equipment and furniture, and carrying hoses up and down stairs. It is done indoors in homes and businesses, with some outdoor work at the van in all weather.
